Shrimp Boat Manny's Positions:

 

Wait Staff  begin as a wait staff in training - or Back Up Staff - Everything from expediting the food to bussing tables - you are learning the ropes.

Kitchen Staff   start out as a dishwasher and prep cook and then working your way into other positions through training and dedication.

Management   positions are usually filled from within so that as a manager you are aware of all the responsibilities within the restaurant.


EACH POSITION: Other expectations to consider:
 
  • Begin at $5.85/hr 

  • Required to wear NON SLIP BLACK SHOES

  • Required to wear black pants

  • Working at least 2 shifts from Friday AM – Sunday PM

  • No sitting for up to 8 hours at a time

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Loading and unloading up to 50 lbs

  • Bending and carrying items above the head

  • Contact with shellfish, poultry, and beef

  • Working with open flames, 400 degree grease, and grill area

  • Working in temperatures that could exceed 80 degrees at times

  • Mopping, sweeping, and using cleaning agents and a positive attitude

  • Possibly using vehicle to go to Brookshire’s across the street

  •  Fast paced atmosphere that requires flexibility
